If you are a lover of art, you will find that the Saint Augustine community has a lot to offer you.  The streets of historic downtown are home to many amazing and diverse galleries where you can view all varieties of artistic talent – from painting to carving to custom jewelry and crafts.  The Art Walk is a popular monthly event held the first Friday evening of every month with special gallery showings and live music. Arts and crafts are part of many of the festivals held throughout the year.

The Saint Augustine Beach House is proud to support the Florida Heritage Book Festival & Writer’s Conference, which is scheduled for September 13th through 15th.  If you are a lover of great writing and good books, or an aspiring author yourself - plan to attend this event.

The Saint Augustine Beach House is proud to announce that we have been awarded the 2012 TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence.  The award is given only when a hotel consistently achieves outstanding traveler reviews on the TripAdvisor travel website, and only about 10 percent of listed businesses qualify for the honor.

TripAdvisor is a travel planning website that posts reviews and offers advice from travelers about  accommodations, restaurants and attractions worldwide. A hotel must maintain an overall ranking of four or higher out of a possible five, as rated by their guest reviews, to achieve the award.
